B2BN was started by members that had been in referral groups before, but were:
- Disappointed seeing lots of B2C referrals but few B2B
- Tired of being told to “give it another year” and hope they get a referral
- Concerned seeing lots of business between members but few true referrals
- Frustrated with no accountability for attendance or participation
- Uncomfortable that people are joining just to sell other members their stuff
